Grand Daddy Purple (GDP) is one of the most consistent plants at Greenman Acres, producing beautiful buds and live resin every year. A cross between Purple Urkle and Big Bud, our sun-drenched GDP produces buds that are bright green with hints of purple and red hairs. It has a lemon and fresh fruit nose and is known for its relaxing effects. 

Originally created by the celebrated breeder, Ken Estes, Grand Daddy Purple made its way to the Greenman farm by our head grower. GDP is one of our thirstier cultivars and always appreciates some extra water. She grows to over six feet every year and really appreciates the support that our trellising provides. By September of each year this section of our field looks more like a Christmas tree farm than a cannabis grow, with each stem happily pointing towards the sun.
